Katrina Davies

Katrina is the Occupational Therapy Manager for both One Stop Allied Health & Medical Centre and the sister company Educational Speech Pathology & Therapy Services. She has been with the practice since 2007 and has worked in a variety of settings including Private clinic settings, preschools, primary schools, special needs schools and high schools.  Throughout her time with the practice she has gained extensive experience in school based therapy within whole class, small group & individual sessions as well as developing effective and therapeutic relationships with families and clients.

Katrina thoroughly enjoys collaborating with parents and other family members to improve children’s development and education. She has a lot of experience in presenting to large and small groups of teachers, parents and members of the community. She truly loves sharing her knowledge to improve the lives of children and their families.

Katrina has had many years’ experience teaching dance and has combined her two passions of dance and OT to create a gross motor dance program for kindergarten and stage 1 students which she has been implementing since 2007 in schools and other private settings.

Katrina now works with the practice on a part time basis as she has 3 young children (including a set of twins!).

Her areas of expertise include extensive experience in providing school based paediatric support, team teaching in the classroom and working with withdrawal groups. She specialises in teacher training, play, fine motor, handwriting and gross motor skills as well as sensory integration & visual perception.
