Zoe is a qualified Occupational Therapist who joined the team in 2015 on a full-time basis after graduating from the University of Sydney.
Zoe has always had a passion for working with children, especially those with special needs. Zoe currently works in a range of paediatric environments with within schools, running whole class, small group and individual sessions in mainstream schools and Schools for Special Purposes. Zoe also works with in the private clinic setting where she conducts individual therapy sessions with children and adolescents aged 2-16 years old.
Zoe has worked with children with Autism, Down Syndrome, mild to severe Intellectual Disabilities, unintegrated primitive reflexes, poor handwriting, fine motor and gross motor skills, poor visual perceptual skills and sensory processing difficulties. Zoe enjoys the challenge of planning fun, creative and effective therapy sessions to meet each child’s individual needs and goals. Zoe aims to provide client and family centred therapy, to assist the family unit to support their child’s everyday life.
Zoe enjoys working in a multidisciplinary environment with other health professionals as well as working closely with the child’s parents, significant others, teachers and school to ensure a holistic approach to achieve the best results possible for each child.
